Sustainable Production

At Burrito Fiestero, sustainability is at the core of who we are. We craft mezcal in small batches using traditional methods, mountain spring water, and wild agave—always putting the planet first.

We use recycled materials for our packaging, including agave paper for labels, recycled glass bottles, and 100% recycled cartons with organic inks. Through these efforts, we aim to lead a new generation of eco-conscious Mexican spirits.

Agave Byproducts

We repurpose agave waste into eco-friendly building bricks—over 40,000 made so far—which are used in our distillery construction and future community projects.

Additionally, leftover agave fibers are composted to enrich the land, while our greenhouse program plants five agaves for every one we harvest, helping restore balance to the ecosystem.

Solar Powered

Our hacienda in Durango runs entirely on solar energy, powering everything from lighting to fermentation and milling.

We’ve also introduced a distillation system powered by solar and biogas, reducing wood use and lowering our carbon footprint significantly.
